2012 Commodities Report Card

    As shown, three of the ten commodities in the chart are down in 2012, while seven are up.  Corn has posted the biggest gain in 2012 at 17.33%, which isn't that much for the top performer relative to some of the huge gains for commodities that we've seen in recent years.  Natural gas and platinum are the only other commodities that are up more than 10%.
