西班牙國際機場比歐洲任何一國都要多







西班牙多年來依靠建築業帶動經濟,建築工程舉目皆是,機場數目更多得驚人。

泡沫爆破後,這些「大白象」統統變成「鬼域」,航班和乘 客寥寥可數導致年年虧蝕,但仍要支付高昂維修 費用。有報導指,販毒集團更打算買一個機場用來運毒。機場慘淡收場,正是該國在債務危機下的一闕哀歌。

《悉尼先驅晨報》報導,地方政府一直以公共收入開出無數建築工程,各地一窩蜂建新機場,以致給商業航班使用的國際機場達50個,比歐洲任何一國都要多。

建築業泡沫爆破,基建過盛帶來的後果便是巨額帳單。全國48個公營及2個私營機場中,約20個每年處理少於10萬名乘客,遠遠未能取得利潤所需的50萬人次載客量。

This is exactly same as the China's high speed railways where number of passengers are way below the breakeven level. Ticket pricing generally is beyond most Chinese. The recent abrupt stoppage of their construction projects and failure to pay workers, sub-contractors and suppliers are just signs of bigger collapse ahead. Of course I can't await for some people telling me that the government will bail them out. Let's see how many potholes, ravines and abyss can the "people government" fill.
