Cobra Gold military exercise begins
Thailand and the U.S. will host the longest-running military exercise in Southeast Asia, which runs to March 10 and involves 30 countries.
More than 6,000 U.S. personnel will participate, the largest contingent in decades. The war drills will include Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea and Singapore, while China, India and Australia are due to take part in humanitarian aid exercises.
