Anti-China sentiment in U.S. grows over past 4 years
Of the 3,600 U.S. adults surveyed between April 1 and April 7, 81% hold an unfavorable view of China. Among those respondents, 43% hold a "very unfavorable" opinion of China. That was a significant jump compared with 2020, when just 66% of Americans regarded the world's second-largest economy negatively.
