China-Australia thaw reveals limits of Beijing's economic coercion
SYDNEY -- Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will travel to China on Nov. 4 on a trip that would ordinarily attract little attention.
But these are not ordinary times. Albanese's visit will be closely watched by Washington and Tokyo -- especially as China-Australia relations start to warm after Canberra had taken a firm stand against its bigger neighbor over trade and political issues.
