Australia's resource-led economy digs stock markets out of hole
SYDNEY -- Australian investors are riding out global market volatility and aggressive central bank tightening better than most, with local shares trading only slightly lower this year.Analysts expect the Australian stock market to outperform many of its bigger peers even in the face of slowing economic growth and a fading bonanza from commodities exports in coming quarters.
