Warren Buffett says he intends to add to Japanese stock holdings
TOKYO -- Not all stock investors like Japan's sprawling trading houses. But billionaire Warren Buffett sees something akin to his Berkshire Hathaway in them.Buffett tells Nikkei that Berkshire is "very proud" of investing in Itochu and four peers. Additional investments in other Japanese companies are "always a matter of consideration."
"We feel that these five companies are a cross section of not only Japan but of the world," he says.
